Microneedling

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a non-surgical procedure that uses precision microneedles to treat and improve the appearance of wrinkles, acne scarring and other skin conditions.

Using a microneedling device, we delicately perforate the skin, a technique that triggers the body’s own healing process.  The body responds to these hundreds of tiny puncture wounds by stimulating collagen production deep in the dermal layers. The result?  Plumper, more youthful-looking skin.

We apply a a nutrient-rich serum during the treatment to enhance your results.  The serum penetrates deeply into the skin and intensifies the rejuvenating effects. As you heal, your skin will continue to regenerate.  Results are long-lasting, and optimized by proper skin care and a healthful lifestyle.

What is Microneedling Good For?

  • Wrinkles and Fine Lines

  • Sun damage

  • Acne Pits

  • Stretch Marks

  • Scars and Scar Tissue Contractures

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The number of treatments you need will depend on the condition of your skin and the results you’d like to achieve, but two to six treatments, spaced six weeks to six months apart, is typical. We’ll work with you to tailor a program that suits your needs and your budget.

What Results Can I Expect?

After treatment, your skin may be a bit pink or red.  This should only last a few days. In one day, you will have healed enough to wear make-up.  You may begin to see improvements in skin texture.

Over the next few weeks, you will begin to notice the rejuvenating effects of Microneedling.  As your body produces new collagen and elastin fibers, new skin will replace the old. Expect to see - and enjoy - significant results three months after completion of your treatment.
